1901 ½d postal card overprinted V.R.I. to Belle View Camp, dated on the back 17 MEI 1901. Two straight line PRISONER OF WAR handstamps are on the front of the card as well as a blue Censor Prisoners of War. The card has been inscribed on the back Bloemfontein Kamp (Burgher Camp) and the message (in Afrikaans) refers to the death toll in the camp at 254 recorded to that date. The camp opened in August or September 1900. A weak lower right corner to the card.
