1926 cover to Ireland with a 2d tied by a superb strike of the rare MAKUMP AU 9 26 datestamp. A Freetown AU 9 26 transit cancel is on the back. Makump was a railway post office on the northern branch line of the railway, the post office opening 1 October 1920, but was renamed Magburaka on August 1 1927. Very fine.
