1899 envelope toe Port Alfred, Cape Province, bearing a Lourenco Marques stamp cancelled 6 DEZ 99. The cover was opened by the censor and resealed in Durban with a British Censor Seal Type 1E label. Durban 13 DE 99 and Port Alfred 26 DE 99 transit and arrival datestamps are on the back of the cover, tying the label. In manuscript on the front is 'Received Damaged in P.O.' which would explain the condition of the cover.
