1901 registered envelope to Diyatalawa P.O.W. Camp bearing two Transvaal 2½d cancelled VOLKSRUST 13 DEC 1901. A red censor label was applied and on arrival a Diyatalawa Passed Censor cachet with the initials O. H. (of O Hansen) was struck. Endorsed at the left in blue crayon is “Encl Draft £5-”. John Field Faure was from Pretoria and was captured at Monte Christo on 18 February 1900. He was one of the Postmasters at Diyatalawa Camp.
