MOUNT LAVINIA. 1901 censored cover to Diyatalawa Camp with a 5c cancelled GALKISSA MY 26 01. The cover was censored on arrival with a Stroud Type D.1 cachet. A convalescent camp was opened at Mount Lavinia, about 7 miles from Colombo on the sea coast. Mail from Mount Lavinia went through the civilian post office at Galkissa.
