1899 2d registered envelope to Austria with a pair of 1d’s added cancelled by the rare BEYIN OC 6 99 datestamp. The cover arrived in Axim the following day (OC 7 backstamp) but probably due to insufficient postage, was held there until a 2½d and ½d were added and cancelled AXIM OC 12 99. Liverpool 29 OC and London 30 OC transit cancels are on the front, a Gablonz 31.10.99 arrival c.d.s. is on the back. An unusual item from a very scarce origination.
