1897 cover to Halifax with a strip of three ONE CENT on 3c provisional (SG 80) tied by circular barred cancellers with a GREENSPOND DE 3 97 cancellation at the lower left. St Johns DE 7 transit and Halifax DE 10 97 arrival cancels are on the back. A very scarce multiple usage of this provisional on cover, correctly paying the 3c rate, to another Province.
