1917 ‘On His Majesty’s Service’ cover changed to ‘On Active Service’ addressed to Tandala with a fine strike of the very scarce double circle F P O 4 JU 17, which is the mutilated NENO cancel that was used at that time at F.P.O. 10 at New Langenburg. The cover has the signature of the Commanding Officer at the lower left and ‘New Langenburg’ which is a proving point as to where this canceller was. An appealing cover.
