1904 small part of a cover from Pasadena to St. Louis that was in a pouch that was run over by the St. Louis & Kansas City R. P. O. train No. 6 on February 14 1904. A Post Office Department St.\Louise explanatory label is attached to what’s left of the cover. This is the cover mentioned in ‘Railway Disaster Mail’ by Hoggarth & Gwynn. Probably the only known cover from this incident.
